As Deputy Head Housekeeper, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our accommodation and all main resort areas are maintained to the highest standards. Working closely with the Head Housekeeper, you’ll help lead the housekeeping team, support daily operations, and step in to manage in their absence. Your responsibilities will include: Coordinating the cleaning and preparation of lodges, and all main resort areas (including bar, events hall, washrooms and reception) to a high standard. When cleaning the lodges you will work to the arrival and departure list to prioritise the cleaning for the day. Create individual laundry bags for lodges containing the bedding and towels needed Checking standards, providing feedback, and supporting team members to deliver outstanding results. Managing stock of cleaning materials and guest supplies, ensuring they are replenished and stored safely. Reporting and following up on maintenance issues, faults, or damages promptly. Assisting with staff rotas and training of new team members. Maintaining clear communication between housekeeping and other departments to ensure a seamless guest experience. Being hands-on when needed—this is a working supervisory role. What We're Looking For At least 2 years’ experience in a similar Supervisory role Previous experience in housekeeping A keen eye for detail and pride in maintaining high standards. Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. A proactive, can-do attitude with flexibility to adapt to changing needs.
