Title: Electronics / Mechanical Assembler III
Reports to: Supervisor / Manager
Job Summary
* Assemble electronics according to product specifications.
* Soldering under mild shielded cables
* Fine pitch capabilities or experience with wires to host
* Follow visual aids to assemble mechanical and electronic products.
* Use hand and power tools and other assembly equipment.
* Apply quality practices and procedures to ensure assemblies are accurately and effectively manufactured.
* Maintain a clean, neat, and orderly workspace.
* Ensure the quality and accuracy of your own work.

Interfaces: Inter-company personnel
People Managed: None
Decisions:
* Use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
* Perform a variety of complex tasks.
* May lead and direct the work of others.
Impact of Error: Direct impact on product quality.
Knowledge/Skills
* Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the field.
* Experience with soldering equipment and wires to host.
* Experience working in a clean room environment.
* Excellent knowledge of IPC-610 workmanship requirements.
* Understanding of ESD protocols.
* Attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills.
* Ability to adapt to various tasks in a fast-paced environment.
* Creativity and latitude in problem-solving.
Education/Experience
* High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience.
* Working knowledge of IPC standards.
* Experience with optics (assemblies including lenses, etc.).
* At least 3 years of relevant experience.
