The role & about the client:
On behalf of our client, ITS Construction Professionals South are recruiting for a Assistant Site Manager to join a reputable residential construction company based in Portsmouth.
Key Responsibilities:
Understanding the company's health and safety policy and ensure that it is implemented by all staff under your control.
Assisting the Site Manager and reporting back to
Coordinate all activities on site and in a safe manner and ensure everything is inline with agreed construction programmes and costs.
Maintain all administrative procedures as required
Pushing on everyone on site to ensure work is completed within timelines.
Provide regular feedback and report all activities
Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and quality of work
To be proactive and help to motive everyone
Have good knowledge and experience with systems and technology
Have a good eye for finishing. The ideal candidate will have/be:
Relevant and proven experience working as an Assistant Site Manager for a housebuilder.
Relevant tickets
Strong technical understanding
Commercial awareness
An innovative thinker and problem solver
