Substantive Consultant in Neurophysiology
Join to apply for the Substantive Consultant in Neurophysiology role at North Cumbria Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.
Applications are invited from experienced Substantive Consultants to join the Speciality Medicine Collaborative. The Neurology service is delivered across multiple out‑patient sites in North Cumbria and provides an in‑reach service to the two acute hospitals.
Responsibilities
* Provide the Neurophysiological Service to the Trust.
* Further develop the provision of the Clinical Neurophysiological Services.
* Carry out teaching duties and take an active part in the Postgraduate Medical Education Programme and the training programme for Clinical Physicists.
* Take part in the Clinical Governance Programme.
* Provide professional and clinical supervision to Clinical Neurophysiologists.
* Engage in research where appropriate.
* Actively participate in management of the Directorate services.
Requirements
* Must be on the Specialist Register to be eligible.
Working arrangements
Out‑patient and in‑patient consultations; specific commitments negotiated upon appointment. Out‑patient clinics are delivered across cross sites, offering opportunities to experience the landscape of North Cumbria.
Benefits
Potential relocation package available. Maximum amount for claims £8,000.
