Community Health & Social Care Partnership – Team Lead (Health Visiting and School Nursing) – Uist and Barra
Band 7 £52,845 - £61,466 per annum plus Distant Island Allowance £1,461 per annum. 36 hours per week. Permanent post.
Responsibilities
* Day to day management and co-ordination of NHS Health Visiting team and School Nursing team in Uist and Barra.
* Provide leadership to the team with responsibility for service developments based on agreed policies and procedures, ensuring a high quality service working within the NMC Code and clinical Governance Frameworks.
* Carrying of a small caseload.
* Training of students and liaison with Higher Education establishments.
Qualifications & Requirements
* First level registered nurses with Health Visiting/Public Health Degree Qualification.
* Several years post registration experience with diverse caseload and leadership/management experience.
* A Driving License is essential for this post.
* The successful applicant will be required to register with the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) Scheme.
* This post is not eligible for relocation expenses.

The Western Isles offer a safe and pleasant environment to live in with easy access to cultural, sporting and leisure activities. There are daily travel connections to the mainland via air and ferry. Applicants must be car owners and in possession of a full UK driving licence.
