Court of Protection Social Worker
* Case-hold Court of Protection matters, including 21A proceedings and Community DoLS.
* Collaborate with internal legal services and the DoLS team.
* Provide advice and guidance to colleagues on Court of Protection processes.
* Support complex decision-making in line with best practice.
Adult Social Care Community Team Social Worker
* Conduct Care Act Assessments to identify needs and outcomes.
* Develop person‑centred support plans in collaboration with individuals and their support networks.
* Manage your own caseload effectively.
* Participate in a duty rota and respond to urgent care enquiries as they arise.
Adult Social Care Community Team – Duty Social Worker
* Conduct Care Act Assessments to identify needs and outcomes.
* Develop person‑centred support plans in collaboration with individuals and their support networks.
* Conduct robust risk assessments and make timely decisions.
* Communicate effectively with individuals, families and professionals.
* Collaborate with team members to ensure safe and appropriate interventions.
Adult Social Care Community Team – Front Door Social Worker
* Work as part of an MDT to provide an early-stage response.
* Take referrals from various sources, providing suitable information and advice.
* Promote strength‑based practice at all times.
* Support front door colleagues with good social work practice.
* Offer advice on key pieces of legislation.
* Assess risk of new referrals and take appropriate actions.

* ASYE (Assessed and Supported Year in Employment) candidates will be considered for this post.

Working Arrangements
* An office presence is preferred due to the reactive nature of the role; applicants will be required to complete visits as needed throughout the working week.
* Hybrid working arrangements can be considered; working arrangements will be determined based on the requirements of the role and in collaboration with you.

Application Requirements
* Degree in Social Work and registration with Social Work England (SWE).
* Demonstrated competency to converse and provide advice and guidance to members of the public in spoken English to CEFR level C1.
* Experience with the Care Act 2014, Mental Capacity Act 2005, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS), and Community DoLS.
* Will be required to undertake an enhanced Criminal Record check via the Disclosure and Barring Service.
