VINCI Building are currently looking to recruit a Senior Planner to support our teams and projects across our busy Northeast region.
The role will be initially based at our Sheffield Forgemasters project, which is on site until 2028. It involves the construction of a new 14,000T press facility along with furnaces and quench tanks (approx. value £150M).
As a Senior Planner on this project, you will collaborate closely with the existing Planning Team, Project Team, and Supply Chain Partners to develop high‑quality logical programmes and associated work for projects on site. This includes the assessment and acceptance of sub‑contractor programmes.
You will also work on NEC Clause 62 claims programmes following any Client changes on the project, monitor progress against project baselines, and identify deviations.
You will be instrumental in planning resources for projects (often in live environments) in collaboration with the other members of the project and supply chain, and in forecasting future workload resource requirements.
You will have experience in identifying complex project issues early to reduce the impact on working programmes.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop detailed project programmes and schedules using P6 software
* Identify and mitigate project risks, recommending contingency plans as needed
* Collaborate with the design and estimating teams to ensure buildability and optimised construction sequences
* Identify and produce programmes to demonstrate EOT requirements under the NEC contract
