Job Role
We are seeking a dedicated Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) to join our team at HMP Highdown, a category C adult male prison.

Salary
£36,066.96 + an additional 5% salary in recognition of shift and weekend working
Contract
Full Time - Perm (39 hours per week)
Responsibilities
As a Plumber / Mechanical Engineer (Level 2) you will work alongside experienced and passionate colleagues across various trades, contributing to a safe and secure environment. Key duties include maintaining plumbing, mechanical and ancillary systems, troubleshooting faults, and ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
Qualifications
* NVQ Level 2 certificate in a mechanical or plumbing discipline or equivalent
* Good Health & Safety knowledge
* Excellent organisational, time management and people skills
