We’re looking for a customer-facing role in a busy motoring and cycling environment. You’ll deliver a wide range of fitting services, including car parts fitting, technology fitting, cycle building and cycle servicing. Training is provided to develop practical problem-solving skills and the ability to work quickly and efficiently. Experience in retail is helpful, but we can support you if you can demonstrate customer-focused sales experience.
We invest in training to help you develop your career, with support to pursue different paths within Retail or elsewhere in the Group. This role contributes to Halfords’ focus on motoring services and electric mobility and involves working with customers in our store and in customers’ vehicles where applicable.

Base pay range
* Age 21+ £12.41 per hour
* Under 21 £10.20 per hour
Responsibilities
You’ll be working with customers in our car park and in-store, delivering market-leading standards of service. You’ll help with car parts fitting, technology fitting, cycle building and cycle servicing, and develop your practical problem-solving skills while working quickly and efficiently.
Key activities include delivering customer-focused services, working to training standards, and supporting a positive customer experience.

Qualifications
To Be Successful In This Role You Will Need
* Experience of delivering great customer service, ideally in a retail sales environment
* A proactive approach to helping customers and understanding their needs
* Problem solving skills
* Availability to work on a rota basis, including weekends
Ideally, You’ll Also Have The Following
* Some knowledge and skills in car parts fitting and cycle repair
* Some experience of working towards and achieving sales targets
