Role Purpose
The Lead Manufacturing Engineering Manager will oversee the Manufacturing Engineering Team activities and develop capabilities to meet business needs.
Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, this role will help establish a global network of efficient and high-quality manufacturing facilities close to markets.
You should be an excellent communicator, driven, and committed to quality and continuous improvement. Experience in electro-mechanical assembly, production processes, and lean manufacturing techniques is preferred.
This is a data-driven role that supports robust change management and decision-making.
Candidate Requirements
* Natural leader and change manager
* At least 5+ years leading a Manufacturing Engineering or Operations Excellence team
* Experience in performance management, lean methodologies, and process development tools
* Strong collaborator and project manager
* Excellent communication skills and data analysis capability
* Willingness to learn and adapt to meet deadlines and priorities
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a diverse Manufacturing Engineering team in a high-pressure environment
* Analyze and improve working methods and KPIs
* Lead continuous improvement projects and support transformational initiatives
* Foster a culture of continuous improvement and stability
* Develop production layouts and standardization plans
* Drive change management and support global standardization efforts
* Create training materials and deliver briefings
* Support cost reduction initiatives
* Utilize SQCDP framework to improve safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people metrics
