Description
* Manage a portfolio of private clients, providing expert tax advice and guidance.
* Prepare and review personal tax returns and associated documentation.
* Identify tax planning opportunities and implement strategies to optimise client outcomes.
* Ensure compliance with current tax legislation and regulations.
* Collaborate with other departments to provide a seamless client service.
* Support junior team members through mentoring and technical guidance.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor.
* Monitor and manage project budgets and deadlines effectively.
Profile
A successful Private Client Tax Manager should have:
* Recognised professional qualifications in accounting or tax (e.g., ACA & CTA or ATT & CTA).
* Proven expertise in private client tax matters, including compliance and advisory work.
* A thorough understanding of UK tax legislation and its practical application.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with clients and colleagues.
