Class 1 Personnel are currently recruiting 7.5 ton Driver for one of the largest mail companies based at Hounslow. As a 7.5 ton Driver, your primary responsibility will be the safe and timely collection and delivery of parcels and mail between depots, homes, and businesses.
Key Duties:
* Perform daily vehicle safety checks
* Efficiently plan routes for timely deliveries
* Deliver and collect parcels to/from homes, businesses, and depot locations
* Provide excellent customer service during deliveries
* Accurately use and maintain your digital tachograph
* Ensure all collections and deliveries are completed within the shift window
Candidate Requirements:
* Full UK Licence with Category C2 (7.5 Tonne)
* A minimum of 2 years driving experience
* Maximum 6 points on your licence - no DD/DR convictions
* 5 years of verifiable work history
* Willingness to undergo a UK criminal background check
* Strong attention to detail and a dependable, "can do" attitude
* Good customer-facing skills and ability to work independently
Shift Patterns Available:
* Dawn
* Early (0500 / 0530)
* Evening
* Late
* Night
Pay Rates (Hourly):
* Days: £19.31 to £27.81
