Educational Partnerships Unit
The Educational Partnerships Unit (EPU) at the University of Wolverhampton is the central function responsible for the strategic development, governance, and operational oversight of the University’s collaborative provision, including UK partnerships and transnational education (TNE) arrangements.
The EPU ensures that partnership activity is strategically aligned, appropriately approved, and effectively managed, operating within the University’s regulatory and governance framework.
The EPU core purpose is to provide end-to-end oversight of the partnership lifecycle, ensuring that partnerships are subject to robust approval, due diligence, and risk assessment; delivery arrangements are appropriately controlled and monitored; and all partnerships operate in line with institutional policies, contractual requirements, and regulatory expectations.
The University retains full responsibility for the quality and standards of its awards, which are governed through established academic governance structures. The EPU supports this by ensuring that partnership arrangements are structured, resourced, and managed in a way that enables those standards to be delivered and assured.
