Belmont Recruitment are currently looking for an experienced HR Business Partner to join Wakefield Council on an iniital 6 month temporary contract. This is a full-time role working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Key Responsibilities * Provide professional HR advice and guidance across a range of employee relations matters * Partner with senior managers to support organisational change, restructures and workforce planning * Support managers with complex casework including absence management, disciplinary, grievance and capability issues * Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures and best practice * Analyse workforce data and provide insight to inform decision-making * Promote positive employee relations and support wellbeing and engagement initiatives * Ensure HR practices comply with employment legislation and local authority requirements About You * Proven experience working as an HR Business Partner * Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice * Experience working within a local authority or public sector environment is highly desirable * CIPD Qualified Please apply with an up to date CV ASAP if this role would be of interest to you...
