About the role:
The Workforce Data Officer will support people services with the management and use of data and systems, including reporting and analysis of workforce data to support the reporting within the service and also enable reliable workforce data to be used by services and schools.
The role involves ensuring that accurate information is available in the right format at the right time. The officer will lead the design, production, and implementation of automated reporting and performance management, and work closely with key stakeholders.

You should be both creative and analytical, eager to find new ways to visualise and interpret data to support evidence-based decision-making. While technical skills in tools like Microsoft Power BI are important, we’re equally interested in someone who brings a positive attitude, is adaptable, and is enthusiastic about learning and growing in the role. Strong collaboration skills are essential, as you’ll be working closely with colleagues across people services and digital and business intelligence teams, and other key stakeholders to ensure that data is used effectively to support their needs. You must have the ability to communicate
technical solutions with non-technical officers in a way to ensure delivery of effective data and systems.

You will be responsible for developing and implementing a consistent and reliable workforce data systems and reports. Your work will involve liaising with stakeholders to define data requirements, ensuring timely and accurate data reporting.
