Lead Maths Teacher
Milk Education are recruiting for a purpose-driven, ambitious SEN Maths Lead Teacher to join a Specialist SEND/SEMH School in Congleton to work on a permanent basis starting in September 2026!
You’ll be joining an inclusive, nurturing, and supportive school focused on changing children’s lives for the better[cite: 1, 2]. Using a specialised “Turning the Curve” model, the school supports pupils to overcome barriers to learning and build towards a positive new chapter.
This is an exciting role for a skilled educator to join a fantastic school to lead a subject department and support pupils in reaching their potential!
What You’ll Be Doing in the Role:
1. Planning and delivering high-quality, engaging lessons across core subjects with a particular emphasis on Maths
2. Supporting pupils’ academic and personal development through Individual Learning Plans (ILPs)
3. Contributing to EHCP reviews and PEP meetings whilst fostering a safe, inclusive environment
4. Subject leadership responsibilities to help shape and grow the department
Essential Qualifications:
5. Must hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a relevant degree
6. Must have a minimum of 2 years post-graduation experience
7. Strong understanding of SEND/SEMH and excellent inclusive behavior management strategies
8. A deep commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil welfare
