SEND Teacher - Specialist Education
Location: Bristol & South Gloucestershire
Salary: £150 - £300 per day (depending on experience and responsibilities)

About the Roles
Connex Education is recruiting dedicated and enthusiastic SEND Teachers to work across a range of specialist educational settings throughout Bristol and South Gloucestershire.
We are working with several SEND schools and specialist provisions that require teachers on a flexible day-to-day, short-term and long-term basis. Whether you are seeking the flexibility of supply teaching or a role with full planning and assessment responsibilities, we have opportunities to suit your needs.
The schools we support cater for pupils with a range of additional needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN), Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD), Profound and Multiple Learning Difficulties (PMLD), emotionally based school avoidance and looked after children.
You will never be expected to work across every area of need. Our specialist team will take the time to understand your experience and preferences before matching you with suitable schools and opportunities.
What We're Looking For
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS/QTLS) – ECTs are welcome too!
Experience within SEND or a passion for transitioning into specialist education
Strong classroom management and communication skills
A child-centred and adaptable approach
Firm understanding of safeguarding and child protection procedures
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service, or willingness to apply through Connex Education
