Position Summary We have a fantastic, new opportunity for a Line Performance Manager to join our Nestle Waters production facility in Narberth, Pembrokeshire. A Day in the Life of a Line Performance Manager As a Line Performance Manager, you will lead a team of 12 direct reports, ensuring the successful operation of a production line while adhering to safety and quality standards. Your key responsibilities include: - Production Accountability : Ensure timely achievement of production plans in compliance with safety, quality, hygiene, cost, and environmental standards in a 24/7 operation. - Team Leadership: Inspire and empower your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and zero accidents through effective coaching and support. - Operational Coordination: Collaborate with other managers and engineers to prioritize resources and ensure seamless production and maintenance operations. - Performance Management: Lead operational reviews, align team objectives with production goals, and drive performance improvements using NCE and TPM methodologies. - Strategic Development: Create and implement strategies that enhance operational performance across key areas, including SHE, Supply Chain, and Quality. - People Management: Oversee all aspects of team management, including absence and disciplinary issues, while developing succession plans and ensuring compliance with operational capabilities. What Will Make You Successful? To succeed in this role, you should possess proven leadership skills, a commitment to safety and quality, and a passion for continuous improvement. Other key attributes will be:? - Proven experience in managing in a production manufacturing environment - Understanding of Safety, Engineering, Quality and Labour regulations. - TPM, Continuous Improvement or Lean Manufacturing experience is desirable. - High level of mechanical and technical comprehension advantageous.
