Overview
Have you got what it takes to be a MAF UK Engineering Trainee?
MAF UK invites applications for its sponsored aircraft engineering training scheme for aspiring aircraft maintenance engineers to join MAF and work overseas.
What's in it for You?
* Acquire theoretical knowledge and practical experience for an EASA B1 or B2 license.
* Serve with MAF in programs across Africa and the Asia-Pacific region.
Important Note: This scheme is only available to individuals with full rights to live and work in the UK without restrictions.
Responsibilities
* Attend all classroom theory modules.
* Participate in practical training and basic aircraft maintenance tasks.
* Develop partnerships through prayer, pastoral, and financial support.
Education/Qualifications Required:
* A-levels including Physics and Mathematics (grade B or above).
* 5 GCSEs including English and Mathematics (grade C or above).
Experience Required:
* Leadership experience in church, school, or other spheres.
Skills/Abilities Required:
* Clear, assertive, and diplomatic communication skills.
* Ability to manage deadlines and priorities.
* Attention to detail and adherence to instructions.
Personal Attributes:
* Committed evangelical Christian, aligned with our Statement of Faith.
* Emotional resourcefulness and flexibility.
* Service-oriented, resilient, with an inquisitive mind.
Qualifications, Skills & Experience
Ideal Candidates will:
* Have completed A-levels in mathematics and physics with a grade B or above.
* Possess a vibrant Christian faith and support from a local church.
* Demonstrate maturity, resilience, and interest in aircraft engineering.
* Pass an occupational medical examination.
