The Role
An excellent opportunity has arisen within ICST East Kilbride locality for a part-time Band 6 Community Physiotherapist, covering East Kilbride and Strathaven. You will assess, set goals with, treat and plan discharge/onward referrals for patients.
You will support junior staff with clinical supervision and Turas, provide practice education for students, and link with your fellow B6 Physios and senior Physio for peer support and lead your department in service improvements.

In this key role, you will:
* To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of own work including direct and indirect patient care
* To assess capacity gain valid consent and have the ability to work within a legal framework with patients who lack capacity to consent.
* Act independently to assess, analyse clinical and non-clinical information and provide highly specialist and comprehensive clinical diagnosis for individual patients to determine their need for physiotherapy intervention. This includes patients with complex presentations
* Act independently to plan, implement, evaluate, treat and progress patient care to maximise rehabilitation potential – including decision making regarding discharge from care.
What You’ll Bring:
* Registered Physiotherapist with valid HCPC Registration
* Educated to/working towards/operating at Degree Level
* Post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safety, effectively and efficiently.
* Comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality / area of practice.
* A driving licence is required; this must be a full UK/EU/EEA licence.
