Hours: 35 hours per week
Shift Pattern: Required to work alternate weekends and have full flexibility.
Working hours are a mixture of and 14:45 - 22:15
May also be required to work nights depending on needs of the home.

As a Dementia Care Supervisor with Housing 21 you'll be part of a friendly, supportive team as you work together to support our residents. Within the role you will take the lead in the planning, supervising and leading in the delivery of person-centred dementia care within the care home, leading by example and instilling best practice within the team.
You will take responsibility for the management of a house, this includes staff recruitment into your team, staff development and coaching and be responsible for the care home, its residents, staff and visitors in the absence of the Service Team Manager and the Dementia Care Leader.
All you need is:
* Must have an NVQ 3 in social care
* Supervisory experience within a Dementia or EMI environment (no less than at team leader /senior carer level)
* Experience of coaching and developing staff in person centred dementia care
* A background in person centred care assessment and planning as well as end of life care planning
* Up to date person centred dementia care planning and delivery
* Knowledge of CQC regulations and related good practice
* Knowledge/awareness of dementia and dementia related issues
* Comprehensive understanding of the behaviours of individuals with early cognitive impairment, dementia and other illness that have a neuropathology
About the role

You will also ensure that the physical, mental and spiritual health of the residents is met at all times
Special Requirements for the role include:
* To live in the Walsall area or have ease of access to Walsall
* Full and clean driving licence
* DBS disclosure will be required and paid for by Housing 21
The successful candidate may be required to work at our other sites if there is a business need
