A client of ours in the Ipswich area are recruiting a Trade Compliance Data Assistant to join their team. This is a full-time temporary position working Monday - Thursday 8:15am - 5:00pm and Fridays 8:15am - 4:45pm (with every other Friday off) 30-minute unpaid lunch, and paying £15.00-£17.00 per hour depending on experience.
This role is expected to last between 3 - 6 months.
Your key duties in this Trade Compliance Data Assistant role will include but are not limited to:
Collating and maintaining country of origin (COO) data across a wide range of parts and supplier records
Reviewing and validating supplier documentation to confirm accurate origin information
Updating internal systems with COO codes linked to part numbers
Supporting the development and improvement of trade compliance data processes
Assisting in the organisation and prioritisation of large data sets within a global supply chain
Liaising with internal teams and suppliers to resolve missing or inconsistent dataSkills and Experience required to be considered for this role:
Previous experience in trade compliance, customs, import/export, logistics or supply chain administration (preferred but not essential)
Strong attention to detail and a methodical approach to data handling
Comfortable working with large spreadsheets and/or ERP systems
Good organisational skills with the ability to manage repetitive data tasks accurately
Strong communication skills for supplier and internal coordination
