The Opportunity
We’re looking for an inspiring Associate Lecturer in ESOL to join our talent pool and deliver engaging, high‑quality teaching. This role involves supporting a specified module or modules, including the preparation and delivery of lectures, workshops, and practical sessions.
This is a zero‑hours contract with regular working hours to be confirmed at interview.
What You’ll Be Doing
* Delivering scheduled teaching and learning sessions
* Preparing high‑quality learning materials
* Designing and marking assessments, alongside moderation duties
* Contributing to curriculum design and continuous quality improvement
* Providing student support and supervising independent study
* Attending programme and team meetings
* Participating in CPD activities to enhance your practice
* Supporting student monitoring, reporting, course review and evaluation
* Taking part in quality assurance processes
Cross‑College Contributions
* Participating in cross‑college projects, working groups and committees
* Preparing and presenting papers as needed
* Acting as a positive role model for colleagues, demonstrating the College’s FREDIE+ values (Fairness, Respect, Equality, Diversity, Inclusion & Engagement)
