With a strong commitment to excellence, we're expanding our team and seeking a talented and experienced Transport Supervisor to join our dynamic team in Hamilton, providing recruitment and compliance support!
As a Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for:
* Providing recruitment support by working closely with our recruitment team to identify staffing requirements for transport operations
* Assisting with the end-to-end recruitment process, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing and onboarding
* Developing and maintaining a pool of qualified candidates for ongoing transport roles
* Assisting with compliance duties
* Ensuring all drivers and transport staff adhere to legal and company regulations, including licensing, training, and safety standards
* Assisting in maintaining up-to-date records of employee certifications, driving licences, and other mandatory compliance documents
To be successful within this Transport Supervisor role, you will have proven previous experience within a logistics role - preferably with a background in recruitment/compliance. Combined with the following skills, traits, and experience:
* Excellent knowledge of transport regulations, driver compliance and health & safety standards
* A strong understanding of recruitment and client needs
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
* A demonstrated ability to drive results and exceed targets
* Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage your own work load
