We are seeking a professional PCV Coach Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting passengers while providing excellent customer service. The position offers an opportunity to play an important role within a small family business contributing to the smooth operation of our transportation services.
Duties
* Safely operate passenger coaches in accordance with traffic laws and company policies
* Transport passengers to designated locations efficiently and punctually
* Conduct pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring all safety features are functional
* Maintain accurate records of vehicle maintenance checks
* Communicate effectively with office staff and clients regarding schedules or any delays
* Ensure the vehicle is clean, well-maintained, and compliant with health and safety standards
* Provide excellent customer service by assisting passengers courteously and professionally
Requirements
* Valid PCV driver’s licence with a clean driving record
* Enhanced DBS (To be provided by the company if successful)
* Digital Tachograph Card
* Up to Date CPC Qualification
* Experience driving coaches is desirable
* Strong communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and team members
* Demonstrated ability to operate safely under pressure in busy environments
* Knowledge of local routes and traffic regulations within the area of operation
* Ability to work flexible hours as required by operational demands
