General Manager – The Social (Opening June 2026)
We’re looking for a standout General Manager to lead the launch of The Social — our brand-new café, bar, and event space opening June 2026.
This isn’t your typical hospitality venue.
By day: specialty coffee and Scandi-inspired pastries.
By night: Roman-style pizza by the slice, an all-day menu worth staying for, and a drinks list built from everything we love.
Add in a curated mini market, darts, pool, private rooms, and a packed calendar of screenings, celebrations, and social moments — and you’ve got something special.
This is a launch role with real ownership.
You’ll build the team, shape the culture, and set the tone from day one — creating a venue people don’t just visit, but keep coming back to.
The Role
You’ll take full ownership of The Social — leading from the front with energy, confidence, and attention to detail.
You Will
* Run a seamless, high-energy operation across café, bar, kitchen, and events
* Set the standard for service, product, and atmosphere
* Be a visible, hands-on leader during peak trade
* Build smart, efficient systems that keep everything running smoothly
Build the Team
* Recruit, train, and inspire a high-performing team ahead of launch
* Create a culture full of pride, pace, and accountability
* Develop people, spot potential, and grow future leaders

Drive Performance
* Maximise revenue across food, drink, events, and retail
* Control labour, stock, and costs without compromising quality
* Use data, insight, and instinct to keep improving performance
* Work closely with senior leaders on menus, pricing, and launches
Own The Experience
* Deliver a welcoming, effortless, memorable experience
* Lead from the floor and set the tone for service
* Handle feedback with confidence and turn problems into wins

Events & Community
* Oversee private rooms, bookings, and event delivery
* Bring screenings, group events, and social moments to life
* Ensure every event is slick, well-run, and unforgettable
