Our client is a main dealership in Eccles seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their busy Service Department. This role offers a competitive basic salary, a bonus structure, and excellent opportunities for career progression within a main dealership.
* Working hours: 8:30am-5pm, Monday – Friday
* Alternate Saturdays: 8:30am-12:30pm
* MOT license and accreditation will be provided
* Bonus paid based on labour sales
Key responsibilities:
* Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on motor vehicles to high standards
* Complete all work efficiently, adhering to manufacturer’s scheduled times
* Accurately record diagnosis details, work performed, and parts used, following group and manufacturer standards
* Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
* Communicate effectively with colleagues and customers in a polite and professional manner
* Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and ensure expectations are met
Minimum requirements:
* NVQ Level 3 qualification or equivalent
* At least 2 years of post-qualification experience in a dealership or similar environment
* Strong technical knowledge
* Valid driving license
* Ability to work independently
* Responsibility for the quality and quantity of work
