Location: Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh, Immunology Service, NHS Lothian Acute Division, Department of Cancer Services, Edinburgh
Band 6 • 37 hours per week • Permanent
Responsibilities
* Deliver comprehensive specialist care to patients and their families, ensuring the highest standard of personalised nursing care in partnership with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
* Motivate staff to provide high standards of care by acting as a role model.
* Be responsible for all aspects of the Immunology service provided within the Centre and Royal Infirmary of Edinburgh; work autonomously with excellent organisational and communication skills.
* Be involved in training and education required for the post (training will be provided).
Requirements / Qualifications
* Current PVG Scheme membership/record; if not current, application to Disclosure Scotland and deemed satisfactory before starting.
* Right to work in the United Kingdom; relevant permission to work as required by UK Visas and Immigration Service.
* Excellent organisational and communication skills; ability to work autonomously.
