A highly regarded and inclusive secondary school in Beaconsfield is seeking a dedicated and experienced SENCO to lead its Special Educational Needs provision, with flexibility for an ASAP or September start. In This Role You Will:

Oversee the identification, assessment, and support of students with SEND

Work closely with the SLT, pastoral teams, and parents to ensure successful outcomes

Lead the writing and review of EHCPs, provision mapping, and one-page profiles

Coordinate staff training on SEN strategies, differentiation, and inclusive practices

*

Monitor student progress and make data-informed decisions about interventions

Ideal Candidates Will Have:

*

National Award for SEN Coordination (or willingness to complete it)

*

Qualified Teacher Status and strong classroom experience across key stages

*

Deep understanding of SEND legislation, code of practice, and inclusive pedagogy

*

Strong communication, leadership, and administrative skills

*

Enhanced DBS check or willingness to apply
