Distribution Verifier
1. Location – Bathgate, Scotland, UK
2. Role summary; Onsite role, Monday – Friday 37.5 hours p/w
You will play a key role in the accurate picking, verification, packing, and dispatch of clinical trial materials, ensuring all distributions meet study requirements, GDP/GMP standards, and regulatory expectations. Working within a regulated environment, you will support end‑to‑end material handling while maintaining full traceability and inspection readiness.
The Role:
3. Pick and retrieve clinical trial materials in line with study documentation, ensuring correct batch, quantity, expiry, and storage conditions
4. Perform independent verification of orders, confirming product identity, batch/lot, expiry, QP status, labelling, and pack integrity
5. Record verification activities accurately and ensure documentation meets GDP, regulatory, and audit requirements
6. Pack and prepare shipments using appropriate temperature‑controlled solutions (ambient, CRT, 2–8°C, frozen, ‑80°C)
7. Apply required labelling and collate complete shipping and customs documentation
8. Ensure shipments comply with study protocols, GDP standards, and courier requirements
9. Escalate discrepancies, shortages, and stock issues promptly
10. Maintain full material traceability and compliance with GDP/GMP and internal SOPs
11. Support deviation reporting, CAPAs, investigations, and audit activities
12. Maintain a clean, organised, and audit‑ready environment
13. Support cross‑training, team cover, and adherence to health, safety, security, and controlled drug procedures
The Candidate:
14. Experience in distribution, logistics, pharmacy, or warehouse operations
15. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
16. Understanding of GDP/GMP principles or willingness to learn
17. Good IT skills, including inventory or order‑processing systems
18. Ability to follow SOPs and operate within a regulated environment
19. Previous GDP/GMP training
