Aboutthe role
This role is a sickness cover position with an expected end date of 3rd of June 2026, or until the post holder returns to work.
Reporting to the Head of Safeguarding & Student Wellbeing, this post will contribute to the colleges common goals.
To achieve this, specific duties include, but are not limited to:
1. Support individual students with a safeguarding disclosure, ensuring support is implemented effectively and reviewed regularly
2. Liaise with external services for any safeguarding concerns (child or adult), providing timely relevant support and information
3. Attend a range of external events including Child Protection Conferences, Child in Need Reviews
4. Make timely referrals to a range of agencies such as Childrens Social Care to appropriately safeguard and support students
