Salary: £123.86 - £134.60 per 6.75 hour day - Term time only

As an HLTA, you will play a vital role in supporting the educational, social, and emotional development of pupils, working closely with teaching staff and other professionals to ensure each learner has the opportunity to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the educational and social development of pupils under the guidance of teaching staff.
Provide targeted support inside and outside the classroom to enable full participation in learning activities.
Contribute to creating a safe, nurturing, and stimulating learning environment.
Take a lead role in managing and delivering pastoral support to pupils.
Supervise pupils who are excluded or working outside of the normal timetable.
Attend to pupils' personal needs and support their social, health, and hygiene development.
Undertake baseline and ongoing assessments to identify pupils requiring additional support.
Act as a positive role model, building strong, supportive relationships with pupils.Essential Requirements:
HLTA status, equivalent qualification, or relevant experience.
A clear understanding of child development and the learning process, including barriers to learning.
Experience working with challenging or disaffected young people.
Proven ability to work constructively as part of a team and independently.
Flexibility to work across various locations in West Sussex, as required.This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HLTA who is motivated by helping children overcome barriers and succeed both academically and personally.
The successful candidate will be require to obtain, or already have, an ehanced DBS clearance on the update service.
