Our client is a growing business based in Shrewsbury, currently recruiting an experienced Accounts Manager to join them in a permanent role. While this position does not involve managing a team, the successful candidate will take full responsibility for the accounts and oversee the day-to-day office functions.
The responsibilities of the Accounts Manager will include:
1. Purchase and sales ledger
2. Credit control
3. Accruals and prepayments
4. VAT returns
5. Budgets
6. Monitoring cashflow
7. Bank reconciliations
8. Preparation of monthly management accounts
9. Oversee the running of the office
Skills and Experience
To be considered for this role, you must be highly organised with exceptional attention to detail. Previous experience in a similar role is essential. The company uses Xero accounting software – experience with Xero is desirable but not essential.
