You will play a pivotal role in leading all facets of Information Technology within our organisation. This position entails overseeing our current external IT Support Providers to ensure the delivery of first-class services. Additionally, you will be tasked with managing and formulating recommendations to advance the companys technology goals and IT strategy. This involves initiating and monitoring both ad-hoc issues and long-term implementation projects. You will have the unique opportunity to drive digital transformational change across all our systems and business operations. This includes overseeing key changes as we embark on significant growth and investment in IT systems and software. We are seeking an IT professional who will take ownership of all IT aspects and serve as the board's trusted expert in transforming our business technology. Responsibilities & Duties: Implement and uphold the agreed IT Strategy across all systems. Develop and implement software solutions throughout the organisation, collaborating with various divisional leads and external software partners. Maintain regular communication with external IT providers to monitor their performance and participate in review meetings. Manage and sustain existing IT assets, conducting regular audits as needed. Collaborate with department/divisional stakeholders to assess their IT requirements and determine how the company can meet them through training or investment. Line management of one staff member with potential for this to extend to two shortly depending on projects required. Experience: Previously held roles as an IT department manager, IT systems manager / team leader. Previous track record of leading transformational change in a similar industry setting. Ability to identify IT trends and propose technology enhancements. ERP System support and maintenance. WAN infrastructure: implementation & support 5 office locations or more. Skills: Proficiency in cybersecurity practices. Strong IT and customer service skills. Exceptional problem-solving abilities. Capability to work independently and meet deadlines. Proficiency in MS 365 Office applications including SharePoint. Hybrid cloud infrastructure ISO 27001 or Cyber Essentials Plus Project Management Possession of a valid driving license. Desirable Hands-on technical skills: Windows 10/11 MS SQL Server 2017 or higher Windows Server 2016 or higher MS T-SQL MS 365 admin PowerShell Power BI (or other report writing tool) MDM (> 300 Apple devices)
