Duty Manager Leisure Centre
Salary: £28,000 per annum
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an experienced Duty Manager to join a busy leisure centre in Waltham Abbey/ Epping area
The Role As Duty Manager, you will play a key role in the day-to-day operation of the facility, ensuring a safe, welcoming, and efficient environment for members and staff. You will take responsibility for supervising staff, overseeing health & safety, and delivering excellent customer service at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervision of daily centre operations, ensuring smooth service delivery.
* Leading, motivating, and supporting staff during shifts.
* Maintaining the highest standards of health & safety across the site.
* Delivering outstanding customer service and handling queries effectively.
* Assisting with staff training, scheduling, and operational planning.
Requirements
* NPLQ (National Pool Lifeguard Qualification) essential.
* Proven supervisory or duty management experience within a leisure or fitness environment.
* Strong leadership and communication skills.
* PPO (Pool Plant Operators) qualification desirable but not essential.
