We are looking for a Health, Safety and Wellbeing Advisor to join the team in London working within our Commercial Property Maintenance portfolio on a 12 month fixed term contract.
The purpose of the role will be to provide functional HS&W advice, guidance, and support to the project team. The position primarily supports the operational team in establishing and maintaining the highest Health, Safety and Wellbeing standards for the contract.
You'll
* Closely monitor key HS&W performance indicators, ensuring that Operations are well-informed regarding the contracts HS&W performance against these specific indicators (both contractual and Skanska KPI's)
* Work closely with the operational team, identifying best practice opportunities to optimise HS&W performance
* Engage with key external stakeholders to influence positive change, demonstrating Skanska's 'care for life' values and ambition to be the best
* Advise, guide and coach all personnel on the contract regarding the implementation of the Health & Safety Management System (HSMS)
* Support the operational team with project level planning.
* Advise the operational team on the effective management of subcontractors
* Support the project team in accident / incident investigations
* Consult and participate in HSW committee/ consultation meetings and other forums to develop an injury free environment (IFE)
* Training delivery and the development of training material
* Work collaboratively with key stakeholders, such as trade contractors, suppliers, clients to enhance HSW performance
We're looking for:
* Previous experience in building services/ construction environment
* Hold a minimum of NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent.
* IOSH Membership i.e. Tech IOSH
* Working towards or willing to work towards NEBOSH Diploma or equivalent
* Extensive use of Microsoft Office applications
* Full UK driving license
