Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Front of House Manager to oversee daily operations within our hospitality establishment. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a passion for exceptional service, and a comprehensive understanding of restaurant or hotel environments. Responsibilities
* Supervise front-of-house staff, including servers, hosts, and baristas, ensuring smooth daily operations
* Manage reservations, seating arrangements, and guest flow to optimise customer satisfaction
* Oversee food presentation and service standards, ensuring consistency and quality in line with organisational policies
* Coordinate with kitchen staff on food preparation, timing, and special dietary requirements
* Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and feedback professionally to maintain high service standards
* Monitor compliance with food safety regulations and organisational health protocols
* Lead staff training sessions on hospitality best practices, food safety, and service excellence
* Assist in organising staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage during operating hours
* Maintain a welcoming environment that promotes teamwork and positive guest experiences
Skills
* Proven experience in supervising or managing within a restaurant or hospitality environment
* Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team
* Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety standards
* Excellent organisational skills with the ability to multitask effectively under pressure
* Experience in serving guests with professionalism and courtesy
* Familiarity with food production processes and kitchen operations is advantageous
* Background in hotel or barista services is desirable but not essential
* Ability to handle customer concerns tactfully while maintaining organisational standards
* Demonstrated understanding of hospitality industry regulations and best practices
