Teaching Personnel are currently recruiting for a number of subject specialist teachers to work in the GL3 area of Gloucestershire, in a brand-new Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) school. You will teach students aged 11 to 16 who have SEMH needs, playing a key role in their academic development.
We are looking for specialists across the following subjects:
* Maths
* D&T
* Mechanics
* Art

Requirements:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) in the UK with proof of qualification
* A child-only DBS registered on the Update Service, or willingness to obtain one through Teaching Personnel
* The right to work in the United Kingdom

Job Role:
* Plan lessons in line with the school’s curriculum, ensuring content is clear and engaging
* Deliver pre-planned lessons to small classes of 8–10 students
* Mark student work and provide tailored feedback to bridge knowledge gaps and build confidence
* Set clear, realistic learning targets aligned with each student’s development
* Build a trusting, supportive relationship with students to create a safe environment for academic and emotional growth

The Ideal Candidate:
* Has a genuine passion for education and is either starting or continuing a career in the sector
* Demonstrates strong behaviour management and communication skills
* Has experience in an educational setting (desirable but not essential)
* Has personal or professional experience with SEN (desirable but not essential)
* Newly qualified teachers are encouraged to apply
