Your new role As the Finance Manager, you will support the Chief OperatingOfficer in building and strengthening finance systems to ensure they are fit for purpose and by ensuring appropriate analysis is provided to support thenext stage of organisational growth. The role will be responsible forsetting the budget, monitoring the monthly management accounts as well as producing the year-endaccounts and managing the external audit of these. This role will also ensure timely, accurate and informative delivery of external and internal reports, including annual statutory reporting, KPI’s and Management Accounts, to staff, the Senior Leadership Team and the Board of Trustees. What you'll need to succeed With e xcellent leadership skills with the ability todevelop and motivate others to succeed, your proficiency in financial accounting andreporting, including external statutory reporting and audit, is an area you will be able to demonstrate at an interview. Your proven ability toimplement and monitor financial controls with an in ‐ depth understanding ofcharity finance, SORP requirements, and the concomitant regulatory environment,including company law, will be extremely valuable. Knowledge of accounting software, excellent analyticalskills as well as the ability to ensure accounting software is appropriate and effective.
