Our Kitchen Assistants focus on supporting the kitchen team in creating positively memorable dining experiences for our guests. This role reports directly to the Kitchen Manager and is based at our attractive hotel in NR6 6JA.
* Dishwashing: All dishes, ranging from pots and pans to cutlery, are either hand washed or loaded into the dishwasher.
* Delivery Organisation: You will be responsible for receiving deliveries and ensuring they are organised in the kitchen.
* Storage Management: Storage must be organised so that all ingredients are easily accessible.
* Waste Removal: Waste bins are emptied regularly to ensure proper waste disposal.
* Basic Food Preparation: During busy times, support with basic food prep may be required.
* Material Collection: Support the chefs by collecting materials or ingredients as needed.
Beyond these duties, you'll represent our company values and culture, maintaining service excellence as our top priority.

What you’ll bring to the team
Good physical fitness is essential due to time spent on your feet and unloading heavy deliveries. Efficiency in a fast-paced environment and strong communication skills are key. You should be able to follow instructions and adapt to meet the needs of both the company and guests.
