Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Third in Charge/Room Leader to join our team at Paper Moon Nursery, Compton Acres, West Bridgford. This role is vital in ensuring the smooth operation of our nurseries while fostering a nurturing environment for children. You will play a key role in upholding our mission of providing high-quality childcare.
There is potential to be promoted to Deputy to cover MAT leave
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of the nursery during assigned shifts.
* Lead and support staff to ensure high standards of care and education.
* Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and regulatory standards.
* Develop and implement engaging activities for children.
* Mentor and train new staff members.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment for children.
* Communicate effectively with team members and management.
* Qualifications
* Proven experience in management or leadership roles within childcare settings.
* Strong background in early childhood education or related fields.
* Excellent communication skills to engage with parents, staff, and children.
* Relevant qualifications in childcare or nursery experience preferred.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
