Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Office Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to managing office tasks. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment, providing administrative support, and maintaining effective communication within the team and with external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

* Manage day-to-day office operations, ensuring a well-organised and efficient workspace
* Handle incoming calls and correspondence with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
* Perform data entry tasks accurately and efficiently, maintaining up-to-date records
* Assist in the preparation of reports and documents using Microsoft Office and Google Workspace applications
* Manage schedules, appointments, and meetings for team members as required
* Maintain filing systems, both electronic and paper-based, ensuring easy retrieval of information
* Process invoices and manage basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
* Provide clerical support including typing, photocopying, and scanning documents as needed
* Collaborate with team members to improve office procedures and enhance productivity

Skills

* Previous office experience is essential for understanding the dynamics of an administrative role
* Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Google Workspace
* Demonstrated administrative experience with a focus on organisational skills and attention to detail
* Excellent phone etiquette for effective communication with clients and colleagues
* Typing skills with a high degree of accuracy for data entry tasks
* Familiarity with QuickBooks is advantageous for managing financial records
* Prior clerical experience will be beneficial in performing various administrative duties
