The Hotel:
Hidden Grooves is our new bar, where high-fidelity sound meets low-key atmosphere in a cocktail lounge. Inspired by the golden age of vinyl and the rebellious spirit of Virgin Records. Our cocktail menu is a tribute in itself: each drink riffs on iconic Virgin Records albums from the 70s, remixed with a modern twist. Bold, stylish, and full of characterjust like the music that inspired it, and our bar menu follows suit.

We are recruiting for a Head Cocktail Waiter with a passion for exceptional service, a warm welcome personality!
Our service is casual, friendly and very natural, making customers feel as if they were in their own homes, never forgetting that our main intention is to excite and remain in guests memory as a place of happiness.
As a Head Cocktail Waiter you will be the face of our Hidden Grooves bar, delivering efficient service of our food and drinks, ensuring expeceptional standards and guest expereince are met at all times.

Role Responsibilities:
What exactly you will be doing
You must love people and have a passion for serving others and the community.
Be aware of all resevations and events, taking note of any VIP or high profile guests.
Be a support for the bar and kitchen team.
Have an extensive knowledge of our food and drinks menu, be able to make perosnalised reccomendations.
Be an ambassador for Virgin Hotels.
Maintain a clean, hygienic and organised work environment including stocking of supplies, washing and polishing glassware, folding napkins, cleaning menus, sanitising tables, etc.
Orchestrate an extraordinary guest experience through positive guest interaction
Be able to guide guests through aspects of our hotel and our city
Knowledge of POS systems
Can deliver engaging team trainings on our food and drinks menus.
Demonstrate a 5 star service ensuring all steps of service are accomplished during the guests experience.
Background must-have:
Current right to work in the UK
Preferred: 2 years experience in a full-service bar, restaurant or longe.
