This role is central to ensuring the highest hygiene, safety and compliance standards are delivered across site operations, supporting both customer expectations and audit requirements. As Deputy Hygiene Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in leading a dedicated hygiene team, embedding a strong culture of accountability, compliance, and continuous improvement while working cross-functionally with production, technical and engineering teams. Key Responsibilities: Lead and inspire the hygiene team, ensuring all operatives and team leaders are fully trained, compliant, and consistently meeting food safety, hygiene and chemical handling requirements. Drive audit readiness every day, owning hygiene documentation, cleaning validation, internal audits, and ensuring compliance with customer, retailer, and industry standards (BRC, retailer codes, HACCP).
