Job Summary
We are seeking experienced HGV Class 1 Container Drivers to join our team in Whitham. The role involves transporting trailers to and from the yard to the customer.

Key Responsibilities
* Safely operate Class 1 (LGV C+E) vehicles for container transport
* Ensure trailers are correctly loaded, secured, and delivered
* Carry out daily vehicle checks (tyres, brakes, oil, etc.)
* Accurately complete paperwork and delivery records
* Communicate effectively with the transport office and customers
* Comply with UK driving regulations and Working Time Directive
* Plan and manage driver hours, including legal rest breaks
Requirements
* Valid Class 1 (LGV C+E) licence
* Up-to-date Driver CPC
* Experience in HGV driving (multi-drop preferred)
* Strong understanding of UK road laws and safe driving practices
* Good time management and customer service skills
* Ability to complete basic vehicle maintenance checks
