Our stunning, purpose-built 53-bed care home boasts state-of-the-art facilities, including a coffee shop/bistro, a hair and nail salon, separate dining and lounge areas, and beautifully landscaped gardens. We specialize in providing high-quality specialist/complex nursing care and residential dementia care on dedicated floors, with a steadfast focus on person-centred care tailored to the unique needs and wishes of each resident.
Your Role as a Domestic Assistant
As a Domestic Assistant at Ribble Court, you will play an essential role in supporting the comfort, dignity, and wellbeing of our residents. Your responsibilities will include:
* Maintaining a Clean and Welcoming Environment: Ensuring all communal areas, resident bedrooms, and facilities are clean, tidy, and well presented at all times.
* Upholding Hygiene and Safety Standards: Following cleaning schedules and procedures to maintain excellent infection prevention and control standards.
* Laundry Support: Assisting with the laundering, care, and return of residents’ clothing and linen, respecting personal preferences and maintaining dignity.
* Team Collaboration: Working flexibly across domestic and laundry services to ensure smooth day-to-day operations within the home.
* Adapting to Service Needs: Supporting different areas of the home as required to meet the needs of residents and the wider team.

* Good Communicators: Comfortable interacting with colleagues, residents, and visitors in a friendly and respectful manner.
* Experienced in Domestic or Cleaning Roles: Previous experience in cleaning or laundry, whether in a professional or home setting, is essential.
* Flexible and Adaptable: Able to respond to changing priorities and work across departments when needed.
* Detail-Focused: Committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and creating a safe, comfortable environment for residents.
