Job title: Deputy Manager Designated Safeguarding Lead Location: Oldbury Pay rate: TBC Start Date: As Soon As Possible Working Hours: Day Contract Type: Permanent My client is looking for an experience Deputy Manager working in a Nursery who has completed the Designated Safeguarding Lead training. Role: - Supporting the running of the nursery alongside the manager and during their absence - To achieve and maintain high standards of care - Working within a team managing the day to day role - Working in partnership and liaising with external and internal agencies and parents to support the development needs of children - To achieve and maintain high standards of care - Assisting the Manager with leading and managing the staff team providing them day to day support and guidance, supervisions, mentoring and training and supporting the team - Ensuring all records are maintain to a high quality of standards - Following the ethos and values of the nursery aligning with the Early Years Foundation Stage - Adhering to Health and Safety policies, maintain risk assessments and relevant documentations About you: - Level 3 or above Child Care qualification - Previous leadership or supervisory experience - Enhanced DBS on the online update service - Ability to run the running of the nursery during Manager absences - Understanding of EYFS - Experience of OFSED - First Aid training - Have a passion to work with children and lead a team - Have a desire to learn and grow - Work closely with Management to drive the business growth - Worked in a similar role for 2 years - Experience in dealing with any Safeguarding concerns If you are interested in this role please apply with your up to date CV
