Eckoh's Customer Engagement Security Solutions help our clients to take payments and transact securely with their customers through all engagement channels. The solutions, which are delivered globally through our cloud platforms and protected by multiple patents, remove customer's sensitive personal and payment data from client's contact centres and IT environments. They provide merchants a simple and effective way to reduce the risk of fraud and data breaches, become compliant with security regulations, as well as enhancing their brand and increasing customer satisfaction.
The Role:
We are looking for a highly experienced Lead Front-End Engineer with deep expertise in Vue.js/ Nuxt and a strong eye for design and user experience.
As a key member of our development team, you'll drive the architecture, development, and implementation of modern front-end systems while collaborating closely with product, design, and back-end teams.
You'll set the standard for UI quality, performance, accessibility, and maintainability, ensuring our front-end stack scales with our growing product suite.
Key Functional Responsibilities:
1. Lead the design and development of scalable, responsive, and high-performance front-end applications using Vue.js and Nuxt.js.
2. Translate UI/ UX designs and product requirements into clean, maintainable code.
3. Collaborate with designers to refine design systems, UI components, and interaction patterns.
4. Mentor and guide other front-end engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and architectural planning.
5. Own and drive front-end architectural decisions, performance optimization, and tooling improvements.
6. Stay up-to-date with front-end trends and best practices to keep our stack modern and efficient.
7. Partner with QA and back-end teams to ensure smooth, reliable integrations and deployments.
8. Contribute to building and maintaining a component library or design system.
About you:
Required skills and qualifications:
9. 5+ years of professional front-end development experience.
10. Strong proficiency in Vue.js and Nuxt.js, including SSR and static site generation.
11. Solid experience working with component-driven development and design systems.
12. Demonstrated ability to implement complex UI/ UX from Figma, Sketch, or similar tools.
13. Advanced knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (SCSS/ Tailwind), JavaScript (ES6+), and related tooling.
14. Experience leading technical teams or projects.
15. Deep understanding of responsive design, accessibility, and performance optimization.
16. Familiarity with CI/ CD workflows and Git.
Desirables:
17. Experience with TypeScript
18. Familiarity with animation libraries (GSAP, Framer Motion, etc.)
19. Experience with headless CMSs (e.g., Storyblok, Contentful, Sanity)
20. Exposure to React and its ecosystem
21. Contribution to open-source Vue/ Nuxt projects
22. Experience working in an Agile/ Scrum environment
