Project Overview and Role:
Since June, the Restart Scheme has helped thousands of individuals across the country back into the work. The Scheme is for individuals from all backgrounds who have been claiming Universal Credit for 6 months or more and offers 12 months of tailored one-to-one support.
As an Employment Advisor you will be the foundation of this support. You will guide the customer through their time on the scheme, making sure to promote and celebrate positive change as well as have the confidence to challenge mindsets and behaviours. The role will require you to build genuine working relationships with customers, taking time to understand their situation, identify the barriers stopping them from achieving their potential, and create structured workplans to make sure the combined goal of gaining sustainable employment is achieved.
As the role of Employment Advisor is target driven, the ability to help customers achieve their goals with pace and urgency is essential. The role requires strong organisational skills to make sure customers are seen as much as possible, ensuring Key Performance Indicators are met within all compliance standards, so that customers receive the highest quality service.
You will be responsible for your own performance but will have the support of a wider team, building relationships with our in-house Employment Facilitator and Employment Solutions team, as well as with our external partners, all working together to help customers achieve their goals.
As an Employment Advisor you will be a real catalyst for change.
The salary range for this role is: £15. to £17, (FTE £26, to £29,)
