This is a high-impact Legal Counsel role within a fast-growing European platform of a large international insurance broking group. The business is undergoing significant expansion, driven by ongoing M&A activity and growth across multiple jurisdictions. You’ll join a lean, commercially focused legal team and play a key role in supporting strategic projects across the European business.
The Role
This is a broad, generalist, business-facing position focused on enabling the business rather than providing purely technical legal advice.
You will:
* Support multiple concurrent business projects
* Advise on commercial contracts and day-to-day legal matters
* Partner with stakeholders across multiple European jurisdictions
* Identify and manage legal and commercial risks pragmatically
* Support integration and operational initiatives
* Coordinate with external counsel where required
* Provide support across both the core platform and an associated MGA business

Candidate Profile
* UK-qualified lawyer (preferred)
* 2–5PQE (flexible)

* Able to operate effectively in a fast-paced, evolving environment
